+Things to Do

welcome to
Tiverton

Welcome to Tiverton, home of Tiverton Four Corners, a lovely rural Rhode Island village dating from the 17th century.  This quaint seaside village features fine art galleries, cozy shops, and unique dining, all nestled into breathtaking 18th century architecture.  Recognized for its endless stone walls, pastoral scenes, and numerous farmlands, Tiverton has been on the National Historic Register for over 30 years. Windsurf at Fogland Beach as you enjoy the views of the Sakonnet River and the Portsmouth shoreline or spend a crisp autumn day observing egrets, herons, and osprey as you explore Tiverton’s endless acres of open space.  The Tiverton Land Trust protects one of the east coast’s largest coastal greenways, including Weetamoo Woods and Pardon Gray Preserve.  Encompassing 30 square miles of land area and 7 square miles of water, Tiverton is a desirable summer resort area as well as a residential community with universal appeal.
